Do you feel like you got passed over in the creativity department? When asked to undertake a creative project, whether for personal or professional reasons, do you cringe? Maybe you have always considered yourself uncreative. Is that really true? Can people completely lack creativity? No, people do not lack creativity; they just excel at different aspects of it.
Creativity can be broken down into four integral parts: asking questions, generating ideas, developing those ideas, and implementing the ideas. Each part plays a role and while some people can do all four, most of us are better at one or two parts.
Those who ask questions are able to look at a problem or situation and ask questions. There is a bit of analyzing that goes into this part in order to determine what questions need to be asked: Am I happy? Does this look right? Should the process be changed and why? This part of the process stimulates thought or discussion. It gets the creative juices flowing.
